On January 12, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced that the country’s utility-scale solar power generation capacity is expected to increase by 15.4 GW this year, setting a new record for the country’s grid power generation capacity. Solar energy takes the lead in 2021, accounting for 39% of the new power generation capacity in the United States, by wind power, natural gas, battery storage, nuclear power and other energy sources.

Today, the domestic and international situation shows that solar photovoltaic energy is mature, reliable, and sufficiently competitive to ensure direct power supply to industrial enterprises.
